Mochi Magazine
Adding community features to engage readers.
I transitioned a made-for-print magazine to a thriving web publication with over 3,000 unique visitors per month. My work was supported by WordPress, SQL and PHP.
On the editorial side, I’ve written film reviews and trained team members on Content Management System (CMS) best practices since 2008.
Suehiro Cafe & Big Evil BBQ
Creating call to actions to increase sales.
I met with two food business owners to promote their menu and services with a professional website.
I wrote original content with call to actions to order food, rate on Yelp and connect on social media. To develop these sites, I used Photoshop, Wix, CSS and HTML.
The Center for Asian Pacific Women
Improving mobile experience to encourage donations and inquiries.
I researched, proposed and revamped the national non-profit’s website. I designed status sheets, wireframes and prototypes on Figma.
After winning stakeholder approval, I implemented the changes through CSS and Squarespace.

- I studied abroad in Russia and Kazakhstan through the State Dept.
- I am allergic to caffeine, but love drinking tea.
- I love karaoke, because I struggle with lyrics.
- I worked as a leasing agent, and ask the right questions to help people find apartment homes.
- I enjoyed planning events as a resident assistant at UCLA, because I love seeing happy people.
